Pinnacle CRJ off the runway??

It apperars your bias has gotten the better of you again. I find that in life your actions define you. It appears that you have old wounds that won't heal. There is not a person in this profession who does not feel that the hiring practices have taken a turn for the worse. Salaries are down, moral is low, and YES, there is a pilot shortage in progress. ALL, yes, ALL regionals have lowered their minimums in order to fill their interview classes. This from the Mesaba website:
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 600 Total Hours (Fixed Wing)
· 50 Total Multi Engine Hours
· 100 Hours Instrument (combination aircraft and/or simulator)
· 75 Hours flown in the last 90 days
· High School Diploma (College preferred)
· FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (AMEL) with Instrument Rating
· Current First Class Medical
· Current Passport
· FCC Radio Operators Permit
· Vision Correctable to 20/20
I would offer this bit of information. Your anger and lack of respect for your fellow aviators is embarrassing to watch. I am sure you are a good guy/gal and hope that all this message board stuff is just for show. Remember that you should believe NONE of what you hear, and half of what you see. Life is to short to make enemies. Pouring salt on old wounds is causing you pain, so kick back in your rocking chair, pop open a beer, relax and enjoy the life you have. I wish you the best.

I disagree with your post in a way. Allthough those mins posted are the actual posted ones, i was the lowest time pilot hired recently by mesaba of the ten that were hired. My pathetically low times were 1100 TT. So according to you XJ is hiring low timers. Maybe you should check in what is actually happening and not was is posted on a website. By the way I had a walk in too, and my resume has been sitting there for a while. I assure you that Mesaba is one of the most experienced airlines at the regional level, something the company has prided itself on.
