Well... Most of the flight schools I know of have slowed way down. I don't think there will ever be a real pilot shortage because of the likelihood of another recession or the outbreak of major conflict in the Middle East. Those are more realistic than saying there are still a ton of 200 hour wonders being pumped out of these pilot mills.
