I responded to your other thread, but just in case one gets deleted, I'll post it again. I know of 7 Guard guys from 2 different squadrons that have been hired by UAL recently.

While I understand that you have to play the game, I have never really understood requiring a suit and tie. Nice Polo, slacks, and dress shoes (even loafers) are just fine. This goes really for any job, not just flying. Some of the most professional looking pilots I have ever seen are corporate pilots (in above stated outfits). They look WAY more sharp than your standard 1 each, airline uniform. ...if I were king (CEO) for a day!
Anyway, off to get my suit dry cleaned...
