If they are so guard/mil friendly- why did they turn off their military sortie multiplier on airlineapps? Just Saying...

It's a level field.

They don't bother to interview folks and waste everybody's time unless that person is a potential employee. If one gets called to an interview that means he/she passed the first phases of the process which includes one's qualifications.

Must just be my fighter sq...The last guy to get hired by an airline was back in 2008. We have about 6-9 guys that have been trying for years to get an interview. Just saying, I don't know of too many fighter guys in the guard/reserve getting interviews. Plenty of active duty getting the call it seems

The "just saying" was a joke in response to the khaki and loafers comment. The only thing I can say in regards to United hiring guard guys is they hired me. I'm not sure what the number is.

"So, in 3 hours or less, tell us about a time you had a conflict with one of your F/Os and how you successfully resolved the issue." Makes for quick work doesn't it.

I responded in the other thread but forgot to add. I've been on a 4 year MLOA from CAL (now UAL). They hired 2 of my recs recently. I'd say they don't have a problem. CAL was a different story. They even had a law suit filed against them for violating USERRA. I think UAL is on the up an up.

And Duck Fook.

2 of my Guard brothers got the call today. Hired guard myself. Retired last June
