Well, but these large carriers don't have slots to spare for the regionals. Most of the regionals don't own those slots. So is SKW going to build a network out of JFK and LAX? I mean they currently feed United and such. But will they build a network to compete with United out of those airports. It's not as easy as it sounds!
Emirates can't fly point to point. SkyWest Inc can just as Republic can. I'm pretty sure with the sort of cash getting tossed around, they can find their way. They wouldn't' need to buy their way in. Flying under Emirates' colors or Ethiad's..... Certainly not easy but plausible.
