Hypothetical scenarios such are this are just pure fantasy. "If the West had a majority". Well, they didn't, so who cares, it doesn't matter. But, in any event, you're wrong, because in your hypothetical scenario the East would have formed an Army Of Leonidas to fight the Nic implementation in court and file DFR lawsuits against the West's fake union, and we'd be right it the same place we are today, with the company laughing all the way to the bank.
