In any case, I am not a lawyer but I do respect the decision of LM and the ALPA BOD to take time to do due diligence on any and all lawsuits concerning my union. Evidently, either the 5% holdback from the first traunch was deemed sufficient for ALL possible payouts, or the risk posed by the latest lawsuits was determined to be minimal. Whatever. We are getting our cash with minimal delay. All this "pushback" is comical. ALPA is going to protect itself no matter what. As it should be.
