Can hair loss be cause by wearing headset?
for the past year I notices my hair is getting thinner and thinner on top, and I figure it was my time to join the ranks of bald pilots. However, over the weekend my girlfriend notices I had a spot which was much thinner than the other, after some thought, I notice that that area is where my headset rest most of the time, and many times in flight I start feeling uncomfortable(up there) in that area and end up moving the headset to rest in other area of the hair.
Has anyone experiences something similar? if so, are there any solutions to slow down the inevitable? perhaps an change of headset to a Clarity Aloft or similar headset would help?
