I have lived in Michigan my whole life and have flown into TVC countless times. The weather does get bad there. But in this scenario I believe it should have rested on the captain. He had a decision to make. Bad weather, poor runway condition, closed tower. I believe he made a poor decision. Everyone knows how your last flight of the night is but, you cant let that affect your judgement. I had three flight around Northern Michigan Wednesday and we had divert two times. The weather in Michigan is no joke it can change very fast. Dont take risks!
