The whole application is based on a point system that will score the application and narrow a pool for the first round of interviews. The AA pilotcredential website is notorious for barely having any information. How do you expect them to score the application? The fact they didn't put down any minimums means that even brand new regional airline pilots can apply. When they have 10,000+ applications, they need to narrow it down to a couple hundred for interviews.

How do you do that? Total time? TPIC time? IMO, the first round they will run is a system cutoff for Boeing/Airbus time pilots and see how many there are throughout the system.

LOL! Are you serious? For better or worse, military time is and has always been king at the majors. I don't think your AB time is going to make up for 0 TPIC. As the experienced guys above have said, your current equipment type isn't going to do jack for you at AA. They've got 5 fleet types on property now, just because you happen to fly one of them doesn't mean anything. CRJ FO time = Airbus FO time. Just part 121 turbine SIC.
