I have and like the Telex 850. The headset is a nice median between ear buds and big, fat headsets. It takes up little room, requires no batteries, and there is enough ANR to be pleasing.
I have used, in the past, a custom earmolded job, Telex 750, Bose + UFlyMike. The latter had great audio quality, but the head set fell apart twice on me.
Curious...for those using the Telex 850 in the 737, do you use the single sided version, or the two sided? We don't use the intercom function where I work, and I am wondering if you can have a conversation with the other person if you are wearing the two sided version?
