As I said, I have never flown airline so I have no idea how this would be viewed by the airlines if I was to overnight at home. If I was not able to overnight, I guess I could at least visit and spend some time with them.
I wouldn't count on Eagle, they might give your hometown overnight to Skywest or RAH or XJET.
