Here's a news flash.. My buddy just emaild HR about the "transoceanic" requirement. His email from HR stated the following as the critera...

"Transoceanic experience is experience with navigational and communications associated with other than land-based navigational aids (class two navigation)".

According to this, just going from JFK to The Dominican Republic is a qualifier, Not necissarily "hopping the pond".
