Let me know when this career "progresses". Going to a regional with a substandard contract to get a "quick upgrade" and "stepping stone" to a major is a great way to wake up in 15 years at a regional with a bad contract.
Theres a lot of guys hired at JetBlue, Delta, AirTran etc that did exactly that in the mid 2000's. 2-3 years at a regional onto mainline.
