[QUOTE=sidestep;1509799]P-3, while JB's Q3 numbers were good, that company with '13,000' on the list made 1.37 Billion last quarter. Billion with a 'B'.
Ask a DL pilot how much profit sharing they got last year.. But hey, 0.48% last year was good enough for JB pilots right??

DL operates on a much larger scale, of course they'll have large gains as well as potentially large losses. Hey flashback to '08. DL loses a billion with a "B" and it's stock went up that day. Funny how things work sometimes huh. (Wasn't hard to find the article thanks to google).
Delta reports $1 billion quarterly loss

- ATLANTA — Delta Air Lines said Wednesday it swung to a hefty loss in the second quarter despite a strong increase in sales, pushing its red ink to more than $7 billion since the start of the year.
But the carrier's shares soared over 12 percent as the results, hit by unprecedented fuel costs and a decline in the company's market value, still beat Wall Street estimates when one-time items are excluded.
