I have been a network administrator in my earlier days. Nowadays, privacy is taking seriously, and you are in control of your e-device, who has access and how you share your info. Therefore; if you are uncomfortable with usage of e devices how to use settings and how prevent anyone from tracking you, you should consult a professional or use sail mail. For everyone else, do not be afraid to use United email, looks more professional to send LOR [email protected] then google, yahoo, or hotmail, speaking of privacy, those domains I would stay away as far as you can and pay a bid for your own domain and mail server to assure total privacy.
You can always disable @united.com email when not needed.
