To all the people who've refuted Bar's statement here, you should understand that Bar actually knows this isn't true. He understands that's not why people have signed DPA cards and the rest of his post proves it by his accurate depiction of what DALPA could do to kill DPA. Bar is using the DALPA-sanctioned description of "I got screwed crowd" and "burn the house down crowd" because he's a loyal ALPA soldier. He definitely knows better, but the latest tactic is to turn this into a bloody street fight. If DPA responds in kind, history shows that most people will be sickened by all the blood and vote for the incumbent. ALPA is betting on that. DPA knows better than to respond in kind. Our tactic will continue to be humbly asking people for their support while ALPA fights an Alinsky-style street fight. Our hope is Delta pilots will notice the difference and vote accordingly.
