The popular thought being pushed is the sale in part to private equity. They would operate and grow the airline for a period of time and then put it up as an IPO to regain there investment+. Similar to what was done to Spirit over the past few years.

That is the dream world. In the real world the Airbuses get sold or returned to the leasers and the Frontier pilots get seats at Republic or furloughed just like the Midwest pilots. I'm sure reality is not very popular so you guys are dreaming of the above.
