Any military guys on here care to share how many years and hours you have to fly as FO in a two pilot advanced jet before you are allowed to be aircraft commander?

Yes this is true but Mesa is not exactly the military. Air Force academy and such has a pretty high washout rate because they can. If you don't have it they will find out real quick. But I have even heard some slip through the cracks there as well. So I guess I could be wrong. But your right, two years should be plenty of time to get skilled in the aircraft. Like I said you either have or you need alot more practice.
