Seems like every ad I see wants a type rated pilot.
Not only that but most places want 500+ hrs on the type.
Having a type with no time in it is just about worthless.
Can you get hired without a type, sure...but it is few and far between.
As more guys start retiring, next 5 yrs or so, the market will start to open up.
I would say you need mutli and jet time.
Remember, it is still an employer's market and they can still be very choosy.
