Life will be pretty sweet for the first couple classes of new hires in the 175. Won't ever have to experience anything like reserve, and you'll be top in base from day #1.
Not that I would ever recommend someone to forgo seniority because they want to wait for a 175 class.
The way I look at it is try to get an interview and take whatever is offered pending a successful interview.
