Short, thick, with high blood pressure makes for good g-tolerance without much effort; not that others can't have good g-tolerance but have to work a little harder as Han said. Exposure also has an effect. When I was instructing it was normal to withstand the max performance break turns or ditches while looking back over your shoulder and still keeping the instruction coming without interruption.
