First off how many total crews are based in CLT and how hard is it to get in CLT after training then to hold a line?
How are the lines for days off on the most junior stuff? Number and length of legs? (I know 117 will change a lot)
I read a bunch of people talking about more 900's in past pages. Where does this come from and is it likely to actually happen or just rumor?
I just added Mesa as a targeted airline on my airline apps. Any word on how long it takes to hear or what they are looking for?
Anything I can do or anyone I can contact to move the process along?
Any idea when the next class is and if there are still spaces available?
Thanks to all in advance for any helpful information!
You can probably get into CLT pretty quick. I'm seeing a lot of new faces. The CRJ 900 RUMOR is for Airways out of CLT I'm pretty sure. You can expect 4 day trips with 11 days off minimum a month. Schedules and day offs change monthly. Ex. I have many two days bumped up against four days (six days total) with 15 days off this month. But July, August, September and October had 11 days off and all four day trips. As for when you can hold a line and other factors like that. Some of the newer guys on here should be able to help you more. Sounds like some of the guys aren't getting called back for interviews. Some have been offered a job next fall. If we were to get additional flying soon you would think they would be offered jobs in the spring. Anyway they will need more pilots this next year for sure so I guess keep trying. And if some of the newer guys can help out on line holding wait times and such, feel free to jump in.
