Can anybody provide some insight into new hire training (and the training department in general) at Mesa? I am getting the impression that there can be a large disparity between cultures and philosophies between various regional carriers. I've heard some horror stories about experiences at some regionals where its more of a "rank and yank" approach as opposed to others who "train to proficiency" and legitimately want their new hires to succeed.
What's the overall thought on the training at Mesa? (This is coming from a CFI w/ 1,300 hrs looking to make the jump with no prior 121 or 135)
