One thing for sure, I have no idea what YOUR point is. You sure seem worried about something that you and others think will never happen. If you (and others) were as concerned about restoring our pay and work rules as you are about protected your beloved institution, this pilot group (and the profession) would not be in the shape it's in. There would be no DPA. DPA exists because ALPA has failed this group (and others) AGAIN and AGAIN. Over 1/2 of the pilot group has already figured this out.
I'll take higher pay and better work rules over unity any day. But if DALPA ever makes the first two a priority, you'll get all three.

You can't just label anyone who questions DPA as a non supporter, nor as many claim an ALPA apologist. My objective is to get a vote done so this group can move in a positive direction. My card is in, DPA now has to produce and challenge, currently I will be a no vote because of the current leadership at DPA....
However, if the vote is for DPA, then let's go.

DALPA is equipped to handle the biggest threat to our jobs, sand carriers.....
DPA is not. Of course DPA may be more equipped and ready to fight for an increase in per diem or burn the house down, but we don't know unless there is a vote, how many years have you had? 4?
DPA IS not even ready to do what it takes to influence political policy. Which is what we need AS A GROUP more than anything now.... Delta would love to have a divided group before openers... But I will not allow DPA to muddle the issues and focus by being a distraction and then blame ALPA for coming up short in the next contract...and not say anything....
DPA JUST SET A VOTE! Let's move on! We will be much closer to restoration if you just set the vote!
