I think that's exactly it. What ALPA wants more than anything is to pressure DPA into quitting without a vote. They'll use all guilt and phony pressure tactics available to ensure we don't bring it to a vote. Because with the latest law change, you don't need 50%+1 of all Delta pilots, only 50%+1 of Delta pilots who actually vote. With that in mind, ALPA has asked itself whose voters are more intense and sure to vote. ALPA knows the answer. That's why they cannot allow a vote to take place.
