I jumpseat internationally on United once in a while and get a seat in economy assigned as is the normal procedure. The flight I am looking at tomorrow is 857 SFO to PVG. It looks full in the back and somewhat open in the front according to the United app. Will the gate agent be able to assign me a seat in Business or Global first since there are no seats in the back, or will I be out of luck?
