I agree that pilot pay should never come down. Just saying the disparity is high between a regional FO and a CA. Whether I'm in the left or right seat. I doubt it, a gradual tapering off of the ranks will give them time to come up with alternate strategies, merge, sponsor pilot schools/programs, etc. A regional pilot strike on the other hand, torpedo be damned, would probably shock some of them into doing something, even if they fired a good number of pilots. At some point enough is enough, right?
