standing question... what defines a professional airline pilot? Can you do it? Can you quantify it? What makes jetblue pilots professional?
Fine say we are not professional pilots, just do me a favor next time you see one of us tell it to our face.

Having a union does not make you a professional pilot no matter how much you want to think it does.

But since you want more, other than the definition which you like to ignore

A pilot who is continuously learning.
A pilot who puts the welfare of others (crew, passengers), before his own.
A pilot who does the right thing even when no one is watching

That is what I would call a professional pilot and it is very much what a jetblue pilot is and does.

Silly old man.
