US airlines compared to the me and some eu airlines are a joke.
if they opened bases and had decent commutable schedules a lot of US pilots would jump ship. they already pay more than us carriers do as a total package. besides do not the managers of us airlines say we need concessions because the market demands that well the market demands quality and us airlines don't have that. so yes open bases here more opportunity for me to make better money and qol. US mainline swill have to dig in there pockets to keep the current pilots from leaving, win win either way for the pilots.
