For those of you not from the western Great Plains or Rockies, most of the speed limits are 75 in these areas and the roads are maintained well enough to be able to do all but the day of heavy snowfall.
It's not like New York or Boston where 100 miles might as well be the freakin Moon.
From Cody to Billings, I think you have 3 stop signs and 2 traffic lights taking 14A to 310 to I-90. There are more traffic lights within 2 miles of the airport than the rest of the route.
From Laramie to Cheyenne, you may not even have a stop sign depending on where in the Laramie area you are getting on I-80 from then it's all interstate until you are in Cheyenne.
Worland to Riverton is I think 3 stoplights going through Thermopolis and a stop light in Shoshoni at the US20/26 split coming out of Wind River Canyon.
It's not like trying to drive from Groton CT to BOS.
