I know, it's only part of the picture, (retirement etc.) but Delta has surpased us (FedEx), on the pay scale and is to increase that margin with 3% every year. Time to tighten up and remain a leader? Ya think???
I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Besides, I would rather be flying for the airline with the stronger balance sheet than the higher pay rates. I think FedEx is much more stable financially than most, if not all of the legacy passenger carriers.
