That's because BC and DW were going to be eligible for those REALLY BIG A380 pay rates (so everything else was less important).

At least the 777 got that big pay rate, BC promised me that it would

Default OK...you're all the prettiest girl

Regardless of the efficacy of 4a2b, why UPS took money off the table or if Tony C was the best union negotiator that ever lived (and I bet he is, based on his posts), we're all in for the fight of our lives THIS time.

Both companies are grounding more of their volume than ever, demand for premium services are down, Emirates is on the march, the Chinese economy can't keep expanding forever and and politicians are seemingly trying to turn our economy into Venezuela's.

Despite how fun it may be to snipe at each other, it will be far more productive to everybody if we all:

Tighten up our individual fiscal houses so that we can tow the line when our individual leadership calls us to.

Brush up on our CBAs, particularly scheduling articles so you can hold the company to what you have now, and give our NC's leverage at the table.

As much as a waste as it may be, reach out to our representatives about cabotage efforts by foreign carriers.

Fall in line behind our elected union officers...petty grudges and political maneuvering have no place in the heat of negotiations...and we are BOTH there NOW. Petty cat fights now only help the company.

The rest is just chin music...

I suppose we'd have all been content to fly the A380 for sub-narrow body rates.
