Since we are going over so much of the history of Comair's demise what about the loss of MCO flying?
Was it a concessionary contract "to receive extra jets" that got DL to put CHQ in there?
I recall rumors from that time that pilot groups were taking concessions to take planes from other regionals. If that is correct I find it amazing it was not just the companies pushing the race to the bottom.
I am thankful at least two regional pilot groups have voted down concessions recently. Hopefully others will follow and not pull a CHQ (if that is what happened over there)
