Upper management would outsource every last aspect of this operation if they could save a dime.
And they will very soon. The last contract with the IAM only protects a few select out stations, the rest can and probably will be replaced with lowest bid contractors. Minneapolis has been told they have probably 2-3 years left.
It's been an amazing shift in attitude since I was hired. I miss the Bethune days...
