There are NO different engines, only the GE CF-34s. The long cowls are original 600 with the Lycoming hand grenades.

Because the 600 series are restricted to F410, you'll be on the track system which quickly will require CPDLC and ADS-C. Research this, as it might be an expensive mod and I don't know if Collins offers a retrofit yet. The fleet is big enough, and the 605 has it, that a retrofit should be feasible.

You'll also need training and appropriate LOAs for NAT ops.

The CL 300 wasn't designed to replace the 604/605; it has about 90 minutes less range than a 604 or 605. The performance of 604s and 605s are identical in every way.

GF
