Sad to see how piloting skills have become so commoditized but it's inevitable. Sad to hear that after six years a pilot there barely makes 50k.

Do they type-rate using a recognized training provider? (CAE or FSI) and is there a training contract?
Right now all of Piedmont's training is done in house by Piedmont instructors at the US Airways training facility in CLT. No training contract.
