Do they type-rate using a recognized training provider? (CAE or FSI) and is there a training contract?

Right now all of Piedmont's training is done in house by Piedmont instructors at the US Airways training facility in CLT. No training contract.

I would say it's close to impossible to make 50k as an FO. Keep in mind, however, this is in a 37 seat aircraft. You could go to Republic and fly a 70+ seat aircraft for equal or less pay. Learning and flying the Dash8 for a year will make you a better pilot, no question. As for training, it is in house AQP at the US Airways training center in Charlotte.

P.S. The entire purpose of the seniority system and our CBAs is to make this profession a commodity.

I forgot about the Saab man. The Dash 8 is the 2nd most uncomfortable plane in the heat

Sorry that this have nothing to with the previous threads, just looking for help.

Hello there, Im new to those threads and need some guidelines, got hired by PDT and I'm going to training in few weeks. I was going to the 3 tests i have to prepare before classes and I read mostly all the books, but I have hard time finding most answers. Anyone going to training in a few weeks please PM and we can work together on this, or for anyone who is already been to class, what was your techniques or advises in this AQP.
