I have never been on an airline hiring board so maybe Rick can chime in. My guess is you will have a lot of trouble getting another airline interview after disclosure of a 121 failure. If that is the case, working in another operation may help (91 or 135) to put some distance between you and the failure. Like any other background issue, it also depends on the job market and how much the company needs pilots.
