I contacted my previous employer about part-time airline flying (2 weekends/month or so) but was informed by the CP that they didn't have any opportunities like that with the company. I didn't bother going out and checking on other companies, as I'm a local guy who wants to remain local...I'm sure there are some guys who'd give up a couple weekends a month to fly, plenty who already do...and it'd benefit some other line pilots who'd like to have weekends off as well.
