Unless something dramatic has happened that I haven't heard about, I don't think this will be done by side letter. The union's position has been that ANA scheduling rules must be incorporated in a full, ratified contract. On that point I'm sure there is broad agreement in the pilot group. 23 on/23 off is another matter, a number of pilots are opposed to that. I've heard we're close to TA on all issues except pay. Pay, as always, is a huge issue, possibly a deal breaker.
