“Liquefied?” Wow John Pennekamp that was dramatic. So you must be the guy who always puts the Soap channel on in the pilot lunge... All this time I thought it was the flight attendants.

I doubt ASA will be “liquefied...” What general consensus were you speaking of? Airlines both regional and major have faced much worse than what ASA's management is putting it through. Even if the goal were for ASA to be merged they'd have a hell of a time merging the pilot groups… SKY maintains much more control keeping us separated. The last thing SKY wants is ALPA. Not to mention transitioning the Aircraft from ASA to another airline would take much longer than two years especially as attrition picks up at every regional.

While we're blatantly making supposition fact I guess I could blurt out another rumor based "consensus" that affirms that Delta will buy back ASA. *GASP!*

What does this mean? Absolutely nothing...

SKY has a good deal going, but ASA is not the hell that all the Barbies are making it out to be.
