1. There would be another missing aircraft involved. No one else is missing.
2. Under radar control and equipped with TCAS, a collision on a high altitude air route is nearly impossible (DHL accident notwithstanding)
3. Drones (no such thing as they are all piloted, albeit remotely) are transponder equipped for collision avoidance.
4. Merging primary and/or secondary targets would have been seen on radar requiring a traffic advisory.
