I watched that video hoping to see where the creator got the evidence for what was happening in the cabin. How could he know that the FO was still alive using a portable O2 bottle? Was that all just speculation? If it was it was just a waste of time.

 

The O2 bottle part was speculation but perfectly reasonable since apparently the FO's cell phone got a brief hit off a tower after the flight disappeared. That tends to imply that he was trying to use his phone, which would imply that he was locked out of the front. Also posssible he just left his phone on, but in the flight levels it would really have to be held up to a window to get any signal. If I accidently leave mine on, it doesn't get any signal tucked away by the side of my seat behind the fuselage.

The value-add of this video was that it brought together a lot of digital forensics, some of which i wasn't aware of before.

I'm assuming the guy didn't fabricate the data he's basing his theory on, but I didn't bother to track it down to verify.

Not definitive, but reasonable. It's not like we should be waiting for the official report, that won't conclusive either unless they find the boxes and recover the data.
