Couple years back I was denied the jumpseat on airways between PHL and SEA due to weight restriction. Plane went out with about 20 seats open. Pilots on the airbus I subsequently got on told me that the jumpseats were included in the bow of the aircraft and I should have got on. I did see a 737 lga to DFW that was restricted to 100 pax due to a fuel pump Mel.
