For this TDY the city of Myrtle Beach is providing two bedroom/two bathroom condos to Allegiant as part of the "deal" to get Allegiant to fly in there this summer. In our "contract" it states that TDY's can take a "hotel option" which means that the company will pay 50% of the anticipated hotel cost to the pilot and the pilot would then be responsible for his own place to stay, if he chooses to do that. The company already told us that is not an option because the city of Myrtle Beach is providing these condos at no cost. So since the condos are two bedrooms/two bathrooms the company is forcing two people to be in the same condo.

The crappy part is that this TDY costs the company nothing, except $1 per hour per diem but costs many of the pilots and flight attendants a lot. Very frustrating and the reason why we need a real contract, and fast!
