The $1/hr per diem doesn't sound good obviously, but your own room and own bath doesn't sound bad at all. Though still inadequate, if the condo has a fully furnished kitchen, you will at least not spend as much in food if you are able to buy some groceries for yourself.
I think the problem is that Allegiant always had the rep of "home every night" scheduling. That's why this TDY stuff has guys upset.
