Real big picture;

AE pilots took concessions a while ago, maybe 2 years? Can't remember. IOW, they are already working for less. The raises offered wouldn't even cover the standard COL/inflation rates, contract duration was excessive, etc. They dangled new shiney jets and a flow to AA.

It's not so much about wanting numbers and what's offered as it is the cheapening/degrading of the profession. All at a time when the parent/holdings company is making money hand over fist.

Tsquare said it best, the guys at the regionals voting just need to hang in there a little longer. If RAH goes "NO", it's gonna get better. Come fall when more hiring kicks in, it's gonna be awesome to watch.
