80 hours a month billable x $15/hr is $1200 bucks or $14,400. That was about what I did working part 61 and part 141 non-career places. I instructed at some busy airports too, Teterboro and Orlando Exec. Weather plays a role, especially in the NE during the winter. And in the South during the summer. Sometimes my entire day after 2pm was wiped due to storms. Yep, some will earn more but I bet the majority will make right around $15k-$18k a year. Nice thing is, earning that little, you pay almost no taxes.
Yeah, 14-15K is what I made per year. That took about 70 hours/ week at the airport, too.
