I'm in a similar boat commuting out of DC. Was planning on NYC, but read somewhere on the forums the DTW might have better flight/seniority options and isn't too bad of a commute either. Any opinions on DTW vs NYC for a new guy commuting...and hoping to keep that commute to a minimum by getting senior in whatever domicile or airplane is best to do that as quickly as possible?
